Edmund “Butch” Jay Lees, 78, passed away April 18, 2015.
Born in Akron, Butch lived most of his life in the Akron area and in Brimfield since 1967. He served in the Army and was a Tool Maker for the B.F. Goodrich Company retiring in 1993 with 43 years of service.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary Lees; sisters, Roberta Zuravel and Sally McDaniel; two brothers, David and William Lees, and his grandson, Matthew.
Butch is survived by his wife, Marcia; daughter, Tracy (Gregg) Stanley; son, Tom (Marilyn) Farnsworth, both from Brimfield; five grandchildren, Nathan, Jared, and Braden Stanley, and Thomas and Timmy Farnsworth; sisters in law, Eileen (Ronald) Jonda of Struthers, Sandra Sferra of Poland, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the funeral home with Dr. Michael Thomas of Falls Creek Community Church in Munroe Falls officiating.
Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
