Gene H. Guillard

 Gene H. Guillard age 60, passed away May 27, 2016.  Gene was born in Akron and lived most of his life in Tallmadge. 

Gene worked in maintenance for the City of Tallmadge for 40 years and was a Jehova Witness.  He received his associate degree in computer programming and real estate license from the University of Cincinatti.  Gene was an avid Lionel train collector, loved camping and traveling, loved his Kubota tractor, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

Gene was preceded in death by his parents Zane and June Stickel Guillard. 

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Darlene (Grund) Guillard;daughter,  Erin (Daniel) Matthews of Kent; son,Geoffrey M. (Dori) Moran of Westlake; sisters, Amy (Daniel) Barkley of Middletown and Barbara (Michael) Tomin of Mogador; and brother, Warren (Nikki) Guillard of Tallmadge.

Funeral services 11:00 AM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the DONOVAN BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 339 SOUTHWEST AVE,  TALLMADGE with Denny Just officiating , burial at Tallmadge Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 and one hour before service at the funeral home.

In lieu of other remembrances donations may be given to United Cerebral Palsy or to Boy Scouts of America.
