Haydn A Thomas

Lt. Haydn A. Thomas (retired) 53, passed away November 23, 2016. Born in Akron, he lived most of his life in the Tallmadge area.

Haydn retired with 20 years of service with the U.S. Navy as a supply corps officer and afterwards, was an accountant with Comdoc. He was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church. Haydn enjoyed fishing, politics, playing computer games, loved watching & playing football, an avid Browns fan, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Haydn Thomas.

Haydn is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Holly Thomas; sons, Iraq Veteran Haydn Thomas, Specialist Heath (Sierra) Thomas of Fort Campbell, Hunter Thomas; mother, Beverly Thomas all of Tallmadge; sister, Gwynn (Greg) Tabet of Hawaii; grandchildren, Haydn A. Thomas and Dean J. Thomas.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Military Service by Mogadore VFW Post 8487 will be at 4:00 p.m.

Memorial Service will be at 7:30 p.m. following visitation with Pastor Scott Low officiating.
