Joseph L Grubich

Joseph L. Grubich, 63, passed away February 15, 2017.  Born in Akron, he lived in Tallmadge before moving to Rootstown 8 years ago.

Joseph retired in 2014 as a System Analyst at Sherlock Services. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and woodworking.  Joseph also enjoyed being outdoors and kayaking.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mavromatis.

Joseph is survived by the love of his life and wife, Bobbye; daughter, Whitney (Jason) Rohn of Tallmadge; son, Justin Grubich of Akron; father, Joseph Grubich of Akron; sisters, Sharon (Rick) Chambers of Dover, Lisa Conley of Marion; brothers, Jeff (Dawn) Grubich of Suffield, John Mavromatis of Columbus, Mike Grubich of Akron, Mike Mavromatis; grandchildren, Channing, Max, Mila.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. following visitation with Pastor Phil Ross officiating.
