Joe, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. My heart breaks for you and rejoices for your Dad. He was such a sweet man. Your family has always been kind. I have been sharing some funny memories from our school days about you and your sister to my family. I will be praying for you all today and the days to come.

We didn't know Joe very well, but we know some of his close friends and they always spoke well of him. Joe and his family will be in our prayers. Losing someone so close is always difficult, but softened somewhat by the knowledge that he is in God's hands.
God bless Joe and his family and friends.

Hello, Vardon familly. I went to Forest Hill with Joe, and for a while we were friends. I know he lived with his parents on Fouse Avenue, and we lived way down Nevin by Glenwood. We went in different directions, but it's great to know he built a solid life for himself and all of you. May you know the consolation of Christ's love in this Easter Season, as you bid farewell to your beloved. May he rest in Christ's peace and rise in glory.

I've known and done business with Joe for many years. He is great person and a testament to the human spirit. When others may have chosen to throw in the towel Joe persevered. I will always remember and admire his resolve. Godspeed Joe. We will miss you.

Joe was always a true gentlemen. Everyone in the Tuesday night Tallmadge golf league enjoyed their time with him on the course and in the clubhouse. He will truly be missed. We are all better for having met Joe. Deepest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Joe, I am so sorry to learn of your father's passing. He sounds like he was a very special person and the obituary really captured that. I hope you and your loved ones find comfort in your memories of him. Sending good wishes your way.

Joe, have been thinking of you and your family even before I heard of your dad's passing. Although your father left you all too soon, it sounds like he packed as much as he could into a wonderful life. What a great story about how he met your mother. Hope we are toasting him with a good glass of red wine soon.

Oh how I've loved my Uncle Joe! In my early years he was my Uncle Joey. He always made me feel so very special. I treasure all of our times together from turning somersaults for him to impress him, riding in his VW bug when he first got his drivers license, pretending to be old enough to be his date (he knew how to make me feel so special) and many amazing years of raising our children side by side. I love you now and forever Uncle Joe. We will meet again and we will both have brand new bodies! Hallelujah!!

How about the green karmann ghia? Remember that car?
I will always associate Uncle Joe with laughter... the kind of laughter that leaves you weak with sore smile muscles... and unable to catch your breath... and maybe having to run to the restroom. He was hilarious! So much love for him. We will carry on bringing together family and friends in good and trying times to love and laugh... and enjoy really good Chianti and large pots of sauce!
