Lee A. Germain

Lee A. Germain, 81, passed away May 17, 2015.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, and spending his formative years in Bridgman, Michigan,
Lee lived in the Tallmadge area since 1964. He served in the U.S. Navy as a sonarman and retired in 1989 as a patent agent from Goodyear with 24 years of service. Lee was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, was an excellent golfer and enjoyed fishing, and basketball.

Lee is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Andrea (Mark) Rine of Tallmadge, Pamela Schroeder of Chagrin Falls, and Leanne Mathys of Columbus; grandchildren, Shane (Jessica) Rine and Shaun Rine; Adam, Jacob and Allison Schroeder; Claire and Lily Mathys; great grandchildren, Ruby and Eve Rine; sisters, Carol Rafferty of Florida, Dolly (Randy) Pschigoda, and brother, Ron (Alice) Germain both of Bridgman, Michigan; several nieces and nephews, close cousin, Ken (Louise) Schultz of Lexington, Kentucky.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (near Tallmadge Circle) and also one hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 5th St. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with Pastor Keith Johnson and Pastor Ryan Honeycutt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
