Nancy J. Petit

Nancy J. Petit (Arnold) 77, of Akron, passed away on May 7, 2015.   Nancy was born in Akron  and was a 1955 graduate of Ellet High School. She remained close to many of her class mates, always looking forward to reunions or just a phone call. She was a lifelong Jehovah’s Witness in which she has placed her trust of being resurrected one day onto a peaceful new earth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Frances Arnold; brother, Kenneth; sister, Frances and best friend, Dorothajean.  Survivors include her daughter, Sally Petit-Widmer and her children, Steven, Casey and Hannah; son, Larry Petit (Theresa) their children Larry and Luke; son, Chad (Daina), their children; Amie, Emily and Samantha. She is also survived by brothers, Richard and Bill; sister, Susan and all their families.

Her favorite thing in the world was spending time in the sun and with her great grandchildren, Natalee, Elaina, Gaven, Violet, and Logan.  She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

We wish to thank Larry, Marlene and Janice for the loving kindness and support they have shown the family, also to Summa Akron City Hospital, and to Jim Donovan of Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, Tallmadge, OH.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held for Nancy at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2180 Martin Rd. Mogadore, OH, on Saturday May 16, 2015 at 4 pm.
