Ruth A. Schreiber

Ruth A. Schreiber, 92, passed away March 31, 2017. Born in Dillon, Kansas, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.

Ruth retired in 1986 as a Secretary at Pilgrim United Church of Christ and was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ. She was past President of the Cuyahoga Falls Women’s Club and Tallmadge Country Study Club, member of the consistory, enjoyed singing in the choir, and performing an impersonation of Eleanor Roosevelt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund; one brother and two sisters.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Linda (Alan) Mettle of Columbus; sons, Bruce (Marcia) Schreiber of Columbus, Clark (Debbie) Schreiber of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Matthew, Kim(Jim), Kevin, Wendy (William); two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday April 4, 2017 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.

Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Bethany United Church of Christ, 1235 Broad Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Steven L. Welker officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethany United Church of Christ, 1235 Broad Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
