Vernon Victor Green

Vernon Victor Green, 87, passed away April 15, 2017. Born in Trinway, Ohio, he lived in Tallmadge for 35 years before moving to Rittman in 2005.

Vernon served in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1997 after 29 years as a Tupperware franchise owner of Green Lite Distributors. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge and American Legion Post #0234.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Bertha Green and brother, William Green.

Vernon is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Crystal Green of Akron, daughter, Celeste (Stephen) Klopfenstein of Coshocton; grandsons, Stephen (Alexis), Kevin (Sarah), Brandon (Sara) Klopfenstein all of Rittman; great grandchildren, Averie, Brady, Kennedy, Liam, Colton.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 with the funeral service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Rev. Dr. John Schluep officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
