Betty J (Hazelett) Huffman

Betty J. Huffman, 84, passed away June 8, 2017.  Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.

Betty retired with 27 years of service as a Supervisor at Mac Tac and a member of the Tallmadge Primetimers. She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, crafts, long drives and traveling the backroads. Betty was considered everybody’s mom.

She was preceded in death by her sons, David Colbert, John Huffman; daughter, Kathy Huffman; brothers, James and Homer Hazelett;

Betty is survived by her husband, William; daughters, Laura Colbert-De McCutac of Hayward, CA, Andrea Buchanan of Canton, Nicole Kaufman of Memphis, TN; son, Robert Huffman of Maple Hts.; sister, Wanda Fitzhugh of Akron; brother, Ben Hazelett of Tallmadge; 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle) with Pastor Josh Deeter officiating.

Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
