Filippo immigrated to Canada from Foggia, Italy in 1962 at the age of 5.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fedele Capobianco.
He is survived by his fiancé Anna Marie Chiera; mother, Maria Capobianco; daughter, Felicia Maria Capobianco; son Anton Capobianco; step children, Theresa and Jeff Heinl, Vince and Lyndsey Chiera, Joseph and Kristen Chiera; brother, Sandro (Pina) Capobianco; grandchildren, Massimo, Matteo, Angelina, Mason Capobianco, Kaitlyn , James, Gianna , Emily and Joseph Chiera, Arianna, Lucas, and Julian Heinl, Lucia and Priscilla Chiera; aunts and uncles, Rosetta D’Alessandro, Leonardo Falcone from Canada, Emilia Capuano from Italy; and many, many, nieces, nephews, cousins, relative and friends.
Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday January 2, 2019 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Rd., Stow with Father Kevin Klonowski officiating.
Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
