Georgia Ann Arison, 72, passed away after a long illness, surrounded by her family, on July 6, 2018.
Born in Akron, Georgia was a lifelong resident of the area. A graduate of Ellet High School, she retired in 2010 from Klais & Company. Georgia was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. She was an avid Indians and Browns fan and enjoyed bowling, baking, and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel Bonner, sister and brother in law, Daun and Bill Gay; brother, David Bonner; and granddaughter, Mary.
Georgia is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald; daughter, Kristine (Jeremy) Herman of Broadview Heights; son, Edward (Lisa) Arison of Fairlawn; sister, Susan (David) Slater of Akron; her grandchildren that held a special place in her heart, Benjamin, Jonathan, Jayne, and Grace; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. John Petrus and his entire staff, The McDowell Cancer Institute employees for their care and kindness, and also the caregivers on floor 5400 at Akron General Medical Center.
Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Donovan Bagnoli Funeral Home, 339 Southwest Ave., Tallmadge.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
