Golden Lancel Cossin, 81, passed away April 10, 2018. Born in Evans, WV, he lived most of his life in the Akron area.
Lance served in the U.S. Army and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber with 37 years of service as a Mold and Die Machinist. He was a 50-year member of the American Legion, an avid Harley rider, and loved old cars, animals, and classic Westerns.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Melanie Boggs; parents, Golden and Mary Cossin; sisters, Caroline Hausman, Earline Cossin; and brother, Louis Cossin.
Lance is survived by his daughters, Lonna (Eddie) Luhrman of Delaware, Sally (Joe) Piscazzi of Akron, Margaret (Dave) Callahan of Mogadore; sons, Jack Matheny of Akron, Lance (Dionetta) Cossin of Atwater; grandchildren, Anthony, Alexis, Roni, Emily, Doug, Hayden, Shawn, Ashley, Heather; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Sarah Cortney officiating.
Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
