Hulda Mae Somerville

     Hulda passed into the nearer presence of God on July 3rd.   She was born to Clarence and Nellie Berringer of Uniontown, Pa. and was preceded in death by her two brothers, Wilbert and Gilbert, and two sisters Gaye and Betty.

     She is survived by her daughter, Diana(Kenneth)Caldwell;  grandsons, David and “Drew” Caldwell; granddaughter, Karalyn(Adam) Grant; great grandchildren, Analeise and Calvin Grant; brothers, Robert(Donna) and John(June) Berringer; a sister, Carlene Berringer and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends along with her precious Wedgewood Monday Morning Prayer Group.

      To Honor Hulda:  Take long walks. Collect fall leaves and press them in your Bible.  Write letters often to family and friends.  Greet your neighbors.  Fly the flag everyday.  Hold God close to your heart.  Memorize the Beatitudes and the Ten Commandments.   Iron. Vacuum. Bake pies. Read books.  Compose poems.  Crochet.   Pray without ceasing. Trust that Because He Lives You Will Live, Too.

      Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Wedgewood United Methodist Church.  Friends may call between 1 and 2 p.m. before the service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wedgewood United Methodist Church; 2350 Wedgewood Dr. Akron 44312.

      We wish to express our appreciation to the staff of Gables at Kent Ridge and to Harbor Light Hospice for their loving care.

      Interment will be private at the Uniontown United Methodist Cemetery in Uniontown, Pa.
