James Ralph Cottrill

James Ralph Cottrill, 84, passed away December 14, 2018. Born in Weston, West Virginia, he lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls.

James served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Programmer from Hunt Machine. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, volunteered with Mobile Meals and enjoyed Tai-Chi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lottie Cottrill.

James is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Vanessa (Mike) Guagliardo of Tallmadge, Vicki Cottrill (Ron) of Northfield; son, Mike Cottrill of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Miranda, Maria, Jared, Amy (Jessie), Mason, Macie, Gina, Anna; brother, David (Diane) Cottrill; brother in law, John (Joan) Hinzman; sister in law, Jean Hinzman all of West Virginia.

The family would like to thank Heritage of Hudson and Hospice of Western Reserve for their wonderful care.

Visitation will be 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at First Congregational Church of Tallmadge, 85 Heritage Dr., Tallmadge with Rev. David Brumbaugh officiating.

Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
