Lillian (Miller) Biggins

Lillian (Miller) Biggins, 95, passed away October 13, 2017.

She was born in Akron where she lived all of her life. Lillian was a caregiver to her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many others.  Her kind, generous heart reflected her capacity to love others.  A lifetime member of Trinity United Church of Christ, she served as superintendent of the church school for many years and was a founding member of Trinity in the Community (T’nC).

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, James; sisters, Irene Sherbondy, Ellen Osborn, Alta Cundiff; brothers, Clarence , Wesley, Roy Miller and son-in-law George Porosky.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Barbara Porosky of Stow, Diane (Perry) Rienzi of Tallmadge, Sherrie (Bill) Broadhurst of Copley; sons, Thomas (Glenna) Biggins of Stow, Bruce (Jean) Biggins of Copley; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Trinity United Church of Christ 915 N. Main St. Akron, OH 44310 with Reverend David Kiewit officiating. The family will receive friends and family two hours prior to the service in the church social hall.

Private interment will be at Loyal Oak Cemetery.
