Marilyn Emily Johnson

Marilyn Emily Johnson's faithful wish to be with the Lord was peacefully granted on Sept 30, 2018. 

She was the daughter of Ollie & Millie Burt, born 94 years ago on Dec 15, 1923 in her beloved Perry, her home for over 90 yrs.  Marilyn attended Perry schools where she met her "Honey", Vaughn "Dutch" Johnson.  They were married 76 years ago at Perry United Methodist Church on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1942.  In 2004 Marilyn & Dutch received a resolution from the Perry Township Board of Trustees honoring their outstanding contributions to the Perry Community. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents and sister Betty (Steve) Rinyo. 

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Vaughn;sons, Denny (Marie Shook) Johnson and Don (Cathie) Johnson; grandchildren, Brenda (Andy) Pierce, Russ (Tina) Johnson, Adam (Tonya) Johnson, and Marcie (Rob) Kress; great grandchildren, Jeramy (Mandy Drake), Jessica (Andrew), Christopher, David, Lane, Grant,Tessa, Decker, Brynn, Anthony & Dylan; great-great grandchildren, Lauren, LaKota, Logan, Ashlee, Athena, Carson; brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and special friends Linda & Judy.  After so many years in a wheelchair Mom is with the Lord, dancing again.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
