Ramon Palcko, 90, passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2019. Born in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, Ramon lived in Tallmadge since 1998.
He retired in 1986 from Ford Motor Company with 33 years of service. Ramon was an avid sports fan, he played slow pitch ball with Bedford, was elected in 1990 to the Big Ten Fayette County Baseball Hall of Fame, and umpired for Tallmadge Littlle League.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; sisters, Frances Nichols, Janet Barbetta, and Betty Nicpon; brothers, Wendall, Richard, Ralph and Edward Palcko.
Ramon is survived by his daughters, Linda Palcko, Cathy Luks; sons Larry Palcko (Lynn) and Brian Palcko; dearest Papa of Shawna DeVore (Paul), Kassy Palcko, Derek Ulee, Mike Palcko (Kaleigh), Alyssa Maurer (Ian), Angela Palcko, Erika Marino, Chris Luks and Greg Luks (Rachel); and 9 great grandchildren; and sister Dolores (Patsy).
Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 4 to 7pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Avenue, (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00a.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating.
Interment will be held at Tallmadge Cemetery.
