Violet M. Paulus

Violet M. Paulus, 95, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2018.

Born in Akron, Violet had lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Stow and Tallmadge, Ohio.  She was an active member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.  Violet loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and family.  She also liked hiking in the parks, playing cards, exercising, crafts and writing in her journals

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her infant daughter, Karen; son, George; brothers, Cloyd and Father Arthur Hartman; and daughter in law Linda E. Paulus.

Violet is survived by her daughters, Diane (Bob) Baggeson and Joan (Steve) Krieger both of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Dan (Linda) Paulus of Macedonia, Charles (Nancy) Paulus of Louisville, KY, Jerry Paulus of Madison, Ken (Kim) Paulus of Surfside Beach, SC; sister, Fern (Ron) Albright of Rootstown; daughter in law, Ardith Paulus of Aurora, IL, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Mike Matusz officiating.

Interment will take place at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
