Zedith JUDY Wehr, 83, was called to Heaven April 23, 2018 in Murrells Inlet, SC, with her loving daughter by her side. She was born June 1, 1934 in Barnesville, OH, the youngest of nine, to the late Earl and Zedith Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. Wehr, four brothers and four sisters.
Prior to moving to South Carolina in 2015, Judy had been a 50 year resident of Summit County, residing in Stow and Hudson for more than 50 years. She was a 50 year member of the United Methodist Church in Stow. Judy was an avid golfer and bridge player and was actively involved in the Summit County Republican Party and a tireless poll worker for many years. Her friendships were life long; she loved opening her home to all. Her Christmas parties were legendary!
Her greatest joy was her role as a wife and mother; she loved cooking and shopping for her family. Her most precious title was ‘Nana’ when her grandchildren visited, they knew she would have their favorite meal, treats and a gift she had found just for them.
Judy is survived by her children, Tammy (Ed) Nowak of Murrells Inlet, SC and Tom (Trish) Wehr of Allentown, PA; grandchildren, Adam (Maureen) Nowak, Rachel Nowak, Micah Joy Nowak, Tonya (Chris) Alberti, Erika (Dave) Hayslip, Rebecca Wehr, Jessica Wehr, Christopher Manee and Derek (Farris) Manee, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
