Aaron Michael Spires, 28, passed away November 3, 2023. Born in Akron, Aaron grew up in Rootstown and later moved to Tallmadge.
Aaron was passionate about learning, especially when it came to business, mechanics, investments, and politics. He loved his job as a mechanic for off-roading vehicles and was the former owner of Green Leaf Yard & Tree Services. He had many hobbies, some of which included dirt bikes, motorcycles, hiking and camping, drawing, reading, snowboarding and soccer. Aaron had a caring heart. He always wanted to do what was best for animals, nature, and people in the community.
Relationships with family and friends motivated him to be his best everyday. He was selfless when he could be and he made every attempt to be available to help. His family loved watching him become an uncle to his niece and seeing the pride he had when he was with her. Aaron had many friends throughout his life, a few that became family. Some of Aaron's favorite memories are of the view overlooking a sunset on the Mogadore Reservoir, the taste of his favorite family recipe around the holidays, homemade eggnog, the sound of the frogs chirping at night, the smell of bonfires at his grandparents, and the feel of his dirt bike exhaust burning his leg while riding.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Spires and Mary Scheible; grandmother, Nancy Spires; sister, Ashleigh (John) Cevasco both of Kent; niece, Caroline and her soon to be sibling, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be November 30, 2023 at 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Goodyear Heights Lodge, 2077 Newton St. Akron.
