Alan E. D'Agostine

Alan E. D'Agostine, 59, passed away July 27, 2016.

Born in Akron, Alan had lived in Tallmadge all his life.  He was a truck driver and loved fishing with his friends and family, riding motorcycles, and working on cars.  He could fix anything.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph D'Agostine; grandparents, Charles and Emily Taggart, Josephine (Ira) Strickland, Nicola D'Agostino, and many aunts and uncles.

Alan is survived by his daughter, Lauren D'Agostine of Akron; mother, Lois D'Agostine of Tallmadge; sister, Lynn Condos of Ellet; brothers, Joey D'Agostine of Akron, Mike (Damian) D'Agostine of Dallas, TX, and Steven D'Agostine of Marion; aunt and uncle, Michael and MaryAnn Finelli; niece, Emily (Josh) Foley of Akron, and cousins.

The family would like to thank the Akron General Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice Care Center for their excellent care.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Services will be 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Robert Curley officiating.

Interment will be held at Tallmadge Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
