Albert Bruce Pifel

Bruce Pifel, 77, passed away May 28, 2021.

Born in Akron, Bruce had lived in the Tallmadge area for most of his life. He was a beloved father, grandfather or "Papa", coach, and friend.   A US Army veteran, he then retired from the Albrecht Grocery Co with 25 years of service.  An avid Ohio sports fan, the Browns, Buckeyes, Indians and Cavs almost always broke his heart!

He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Franze; father, Albert and mother, Elsie.

He passes on his strength of mind, will, and body to his family.  Bruce is survived by his sons, Eric (Angie) Pifel of Wisconsin and Dru (Collete Gogan) Pifel of Ravenna; grandchildren, A.J., Logan, Camden, Nick, and Abbey; sister, Pat (Cliff) Pander of Tallmadge; and brother, David (Kathi) Pifel of Tallmadge.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
