Albert Rasicci, 86, passed away December 3, 2017. He was born in Akron where he lived all of his life. Al graduated from North High School and served in the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a great athlete and is in the Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame. Al was an avid golfer and a big sports enthusiast. Most of all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphanso and Louise; brothers, Arthur and Sylvester; and sister, Edith Hippley. Al is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gloria; daughters, Diane Mulcahy (Bob) and Maria Custer (Rob); son, Pastor John Rasicci (Candy); grandchildren, Krista Beyersdorf (Matt), Joanna Underwood (Doug), John Anthony Rasicci; five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Luke, Joel, Everly and Emma. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Pl. Akron. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
