Alberta M. Murawski, born April 10, 1921, passed from this world on April 3, 2015 to join God in his Heavenly Kingdom. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who's love and generosity was shown frequently to all.
She had been employed at B.F. Goodrich before starting in her career as mother and homemaker. For over 30 years she worked at the Friday fish fry at the Polish American Club until her health prevented it. Alberta was a member of the P.A.C. Women's Auxiliary, Polish Roman Catholic Union, Polish National Alliance and former member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church. She was a stickler for detail and loved playing cards, especially pinochle.
She was preceded in death by husband, Victor; brothers, Joseph, John, Stanley, William and Adam Szwejk; sisters, Helen Slovisky and Stella Rachubka.
Alberta is survived by children, Mark (Rise) Murawski and Monica (Gary) Letta; grandchildren, Jessica Letta (fiancée John Tamba), Joseph Letta, and Michael Murawski, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A Special thanks to her caring physician, Dr. Ross Black, Gretchen Hazle and the wonderful staff at Haven Homes Assisted Living, as well as the recent care from Senior Independence Hospice Staff.
God looked around the garden,
and found an empty space.
He looked down upon the earth,
and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,
and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
for he only takes the best.
