Alma M. (Foscato) Slack

Alma M. Slack passed away March 8, 2024. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a resident of Jackson Township from 1978 - 2018.

She was a parishioner of St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church and a member of the Massillon Women's Club and the Women's Auxiliary Board of Summit County Children Services. After moving to Huntington, West Virginia, Alma assisted War Veterans at the Veterans Administration Hospital. She enjoyed traveling, becoming a Flight Attendant for American Airlines and later a member of their Kiwi Club. She was a collector of antiques for her country styled home.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Slack, Sr.; parents, Oscar and Antoinette Foscato; and her brother, Henry.

Alma is survived by her sons, Charles Jr. (Denise) and Joel (Magdalena); her grandchildren, Nick (Sionne), Brian (Elizabeth) and Ana, her sister, Yvonne Skeens of Ashland, Kentucky, and nieces Jennifer, Karen and Leslie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Summit County Children Services – Woman's Auxiliary Board.
