Angelina Rinaldi, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 5, 2026. She was Born in Bonefro, Italy and immigrated to Akron in 1972 where she lived nearly all of her life.
Angelina was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish. Before retiring, she worked for many years in the food service industry. Angelina enjoyed crocheting and gardening; she always had such a green thumb. What she enjoyed more than anything was spending time with her family. Gathering together with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends and enjoying her homecooked meals was what brought her the most joy. She was always trying to feed you and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Her specialty was her homemade pizzelle’s that she shared with everybody.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Costanzo; parents, Giuseppe and Luisa Santoianni (nee Iarocci); and brother-in-law, Antonio.
Angelina is survived by her children, Joseph (Kathy) Rinaldi and Antonio Rinaldi; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicholas, Julia, and Dominic; siblings, Domenico (Maria Cristina), Concettina, and Gina (Michaelantonio); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
