Ann Josephine (Basile) Scarpitti

"Together Again"

Ann J. (Basile) Scarpitti, 85, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2015.  Ann was an avid bingo player, life of the party and had many friends who loved her.  Annie had a heart of gold and always created laughter and smiles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jay" Scarpitti.  Ann is survived by her daughters, Linda (Paul Linehan) Hines, Karen (Joyce Cox) Alfather and Kim Garthoff; grandchildren, Adrianne and Brian Garthoff and sister, Antonette Horsfield.

A Memorial Service will be at 12 noon, Saturday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St., Akron.  Friends will be received from 10:30 am until the time of the service.
