Anna J. Comeione (nee Cetnarowski), a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, 93, passed away July 11, 2022.
Anne was born June 3, 1929, to John and Josephine Cetnarowski in Akron. She was a devout Catholic & a member of the Visitation of Mary Parish/Annunciation St. John's Parish. She loved to cook, sew, bake, garden & work puzzles. Her door and kitchen on Cree were always open. Anne loved sipping her morning coffee while listening to Saturday morning Polka music. She enjoyed working on puzzles & baking cookies with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anna had a big heart and volunteered for several years at the Fish Frys for Annunciation, St. John's. She was also part of St. Ann Guild, a ministry dedicated to giving back to the community. She loved helping people & had a kind & caring soul. Anna was a hard-working woman who owned a family catering business for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; grandson, Jacob, and several sisters and brothers.
Anna is survived by her sons, Patrick (Debbie) of Uniontown, Nick (Lynne) Comeione of Goodyear, AZ, daughters, Theresa Comeione of North Canton, Marie (Chris) Hoiles of Uniontown, Fran (Brian) Icenhour of Randolph; grandchildren, Marisa (Scott), Bobby (Ashley), Ronald (Makeia), Jessica, Levi (Meredith), Cheyenne (Luke), Yabacushyanei, Adrianna, Katlyn, Patrick, Cheynoa. Along with several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday July 13, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown, OH. Procession to form at the church.
Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
