Anna Goettl

April 1, 1928 — October 20, 2017

Anna Goettl, 89, passed away October 20, 2017. Born in Romania, she lived in the Akron area most of her life and the past 12 years in Vermillion.

She was a past member of Blessed Trinity Parish and the German Family Society. Anna enjoyed crocheting, collecting dolls and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; daughter Margarete Renneckar.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Gudrun "Gertie" (Tom) Burse of Vermilion; son, Johann (Sharon) Goettl of Louisville; grandchildren, Brian (Lori), Elizabeth, Clifford, Kevin, Krista (Greg); 14 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren son in law, Jerry Renneckar of New Philadelphia.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Blessed Trinity Parish 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron with Fr. Joseph Warner officiating.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
