Anna Saitta, 86, left this world on Sunday, October 20, 2013 and joined our Heavenly Father. She was a lifelong resident of Akron Ohio. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, St. Monica Society, the LaJoia and Cassanese Clubs and enjoyed the company of wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, (our wonderful father) Joseph Saitta. Left to mourn her loss are her children, Nancy and Terri Saitta and Phil Palmer; grandchildren, Joe and Annie Palmer and Michael Gray; great-grandchildren, Joey, Lilly, Kaley, Macy, Lola and Braden.

We were so blessed to have such a wonderful mother. She was truly selfless. Her life was built around her faith in God, devotion to our father and our family. She was truly a godly example and we thank God for her and for all of her love.

.The family will receive friends form 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Hennessy Funeral Home, (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Pl., Akron, OH 44310. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Anthony Church.
