Anthony E. Rossi, 59, passed away suddenly October 26, 2017. He was born in Akron where he was a lifelong resident. Tony was a graduate of St. Anthony Grade School, North High School, and The Freightliner Corporation Car Repair and Rebuild School. He worked at Richfield Truck Center and was presently employed by Schlinder Bros. Truck Services. He also loved to spend his free time collecting and repairing classic cars. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Ugo Rossi. He is survived by his daughter, Christina Rossi; mother, Maria Rossi; sister and brother-in-law, Elvira and Steve Armocida; nieces, Stephanie and Angela Armocida; and his family of Isernia Italy, Domenic, Victoria, Elvira, and Enrica Fabrizio; and former wife and friend, Dawna Wenck. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Pl., Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
