April Mae Parkins, 51, passed away November 5, 2021. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, she lived most of her life in Akron before moving to Tallmadge six years ago.
April worked as a hairdresser at Damiano's Hair Design. She enjoyed painting and shopping. April loved being with her daughter, Bridgette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen Parkins; sister, Hope Saviers.
April is survived by her life partner, Damiano Tassone; daughter, Bridgette Parkins (Cale Miller); sisters, Reba Dumas, Mattie (Gary) Workman, Nancy (Mike) Norman; brothers Steven (Linda) Parkins, Dayton (Lisa) Parkins, Adam Parkins; great niece and nephew, Sophia Deel and Braylon Deel; and several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday November 8, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home - Tallmadge, 17 Southwest Ave. Tallmadge, OH.
Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Park.
