Arthur E. Mancini, 91, of Cuyahoga Falls died peacefully April 3, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Akron and was a graduate of North High School. He has resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1953. Art retired as a head draftsman from BF Goodrich in 1986 with 28 years of service. He spent his free time golfing, bowling and playing cards. Art was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and friend. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church, where he was an usher and a member of Holy Name. He was an honorary member of the St. Philomena Club.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife for 48 years, Lena (Novelli), parents, James and Flora, his brother, Albert and sister-in-law, Theresa, brother-in-law, Joe Caiola and his baby daughter, Linda. His memory will be cherished by his daughters, Ann of Broadview Hts., Patty (Rick) Sabo and Joyce of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Tom (Carol) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ric (Dawn) of Austin, Texas and Paul (Kathie) of New Albany; grandchildren, Sean (Vy), Jason (Amanda), Dan, Rachel, Aaron, Nicole, Kelsey, Caitlin, Emily, Jennifer and Grace; great-grandson, Rocco; sisters, Helen Rossi and Norma Caiola; many nieces, nephews, dear relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm, Monday, April 6, 2015 at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main), 552 N. Main St., Akron.
