Barbara B. Neiger

Barbara B. Neiger, 87, passed away September 11, 2026. Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in the Tallmadge area before moving to Cuyahoga Falls.

Barbara was a Nurse for many years with Summa City Campus and finally retired as a consult Nurse for Aetna Insurance. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved game day every Sunday with her sister and friends Kim and Dawn and she loved going to church, Patterson Park on Mondays with their Senior group, and out to eat.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; son, Michael Neiger; parents, John and Mildred Graham.

Barbara is survived by her son, Jeff (Beth) Neiger; grandchildren, Britany (Kevin) Walter, Brandon Neiger; great grandchildren, Payton, Adeline, and Kyleigh Ewers; sisters, Nancy Knopp, Dianne Simons; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A special thanks to her sister, Dianne who took loving care in Barbara’s final days.

Per her wishes, private burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 230 Stow Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
