Barbara C (Newsome) Shushok

Barbara C. "Bobbie" Shushok, 85, passed away on November 13, 2025. Born in Richwood, West Virginia, Barbara spent most of her life in Atwater, Ohio.

Barbara loved her years as an antique dealer and found great joy in bowling and playing cards with friends. She especially cherished her travels with her dear friend Betty and her daughter Jackie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Randy Newsome; six sisters; and three brothers.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 68 years, John Shushok; daughter, Jackie Loudin-Benson (Bob) of Bath; son, Garrett Shushok; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She also shared a special bond with her granddaughters, Emmy and Nessa Loudin, and was deeply delighted by the arrival of her great-grandchild, John-Dale, who brought her tremendous joy in her final year.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
