Bernice Grismer

Age 89, passed away peacefully July 13, 2018.

Born in Akron on August 9, 1928 to Richard and Madeline Horning. She was raised in Cuyahoga Falls and lived in Akron the past 60 years .

Bernice was a teacher and taught at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cuyahoga Falls, until she left to raise her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon,  Stan and Norb Horning; and sisters, Thelma Stewart, Joyce King, and Ann Wytmans.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frank; daughter, Sharon Hamilton; sons, Dan (Karen), Mark, and Ted; sister, Della Neitz; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at 11:00  at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.  Friends and family may call 1 hour before the service.
