Bernice Ileen (Stull) Ruppel

Bernice Ileen Ruppel, 91, passed away May 4, 2021. Born in Akron, Ohio and lived her life in the Akron/Tallmadge area.

Bernice was a graduate of North High School and was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, volunteering. She loved traveling internationally with her husband, Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; son, Mark, parents, Ralph and Sophia Stull; sister in law, Sue Stull.

Bernice is survived by her daughters, Karen Policy of Kent, Kim (Brian) Hoobler of Montana; sons, Kurt (Pat) Ruppel of Minnesota, Keith (Cynthia) Ruppel of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Ian, Kyleen (Matt), Sonja (Adam), Jesse, Rachel (Ian), Joshua, Isabel, and Hayden; great grandchildren, Kamarii, Makenna, Kian; brother, John (Ann Richards) Stull of Northfield, Minnesota; nieces, Kynda and Rebecca and many friends.

Visitation will be 11:00 until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle)

Funeral services will follow visitation at Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Low officiating. It will be Live Streamed at www.donovanfuneralhome.com/live.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
