Beth Irene (Johnson) Bachtel

Beth Irene Bachtel, 85, of Tallmadge passed away on February 17, 2022. Born in Barberton, she graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and lived most of her adult life in Tallmadge.

Beth was a stay-at-home mom, raising three children and providing for her husband. She was a great cook who prided herself on providing healthy meals for her family. She was an active member of Bailey Road Christian Church, participating in CWF, sang in the choir, and was a Deaconess. Beth, with her husband Bob, were also active members of the Greater Akron Model T Ford Club.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Alta Johnson; brother, Harold Johnson; and her husband, Robert (Bob).

She is survived by her daughter, Irene (Robert) Smith; sons, Edward Bachtel, Richard (Cathie) Bachtel; six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 am at Bailey Road Christian Church, 3200 W. Bailey Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Pastor Timothy J. Brown, officiating.
