Betty Ann (Kovalchik) Logan

Betty Ann Logan, 89, passed away October 23 2023.

Born in Byesville, Ohio, Betty had lived in the Akron area for most of her life.  She was a long-time member of St. Matthews Parish and the St. Matthew's Ladies Guild.  Betty enjoyed going to church, playing bingo, gambling, and catering.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; sister, Louise Knoble and brothers, Russell Kovalchik and Steve Kovalchik.

Betty is survived by her children, Pamela (Terry) Lepola, Susan (Brian) Drum, Theodore Logan, Jr. (Mildred Haught), Robert (Pamela) Logan, and Matthew (Kathleen) Logan; grandchildren, Nicole, Chrissy, Jason, Joshua, Erin, Jenny, Shawn, Justin, Ryan and Tim; 15 great grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Armocida.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at St. Matthew Parish, 2603 Benton Ave., Akron with Father Michael Williamson officiating.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Procession to form at the church.
