Betty Jane (Laird) Ross

Betty Ross (nee Laird) stepped into heaven on Dec 10th, 2022.  She made it home in time for Christmas.  Jesus was the center of her life.

Betty was born in Akron and graduated from Ellet High School.  She was married to her husband Jim for over 50 years before he went to heaven in 2012. She was a member of Bethel Church of Tallmadge for many years, and served in secretarial work, teaching, preparing communion and community outreach programs.  Betty was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Jim; her parents, Harold and Elnora Laird; and her sister, Susan Kimball.

Betty is survived by her niece (daughter,) Michele Hatch (Dave) and many loving friends.

Calling hours will be 11:00 until 12:30 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022  with Funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Bethel Church of Tallmadge, 231 South Ave with Rev. Phil Anderson officiating.

Interment immediately following at Hillside Memorial Park.
