Betty J. Swadley

Betty J. Swadley, 93, passed away November 14, 2022.

Born in Glimer County, West Virginia, Betty had lived in the Akron area for most of her life.  She retired in 1994 from Goodyear Aerospace/Loral after 34 years of service.  Betty was a member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church, AITRISA International of Akron, and Women's Federation of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Swadley; son, Jim E. Swadley; brothers, Bob and Gene, and sister, Isabell.

Betty is survived by her son, Kenneth B. Swadely of Columbus; sister, Anna D. Davis of Tallmadge;  niece and family, Tonya (Steve), Steven, Alex, and Sarah.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service to follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Doty officiating.

Private Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
