Brenda F. (Anderson) Pickering

Brenda F. Pickering, 68, passed away December 21, 2024.

Born in Akron, Brenda had lived in Mogadore for most of her life where she formed many special connections with so many families in the community.  She was employed with Mogadore Local Schools as a school bus driver for 33 ½ years where she adored and was adored by all the children who rode her bus. Brenda had a special soft spot for all the special needs children she drove, going above and beyond to make sure they got school every day. She enjoyed helping Tina Massoli at Vincent's Bakery, gambling, OSU football, and old car shows. Brenda loved her grandkids more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Brenda Pickering; sister, Linda Spencer and Jackie Wilson; brother, Terry Anderson and Cecil Anderson.

Brenda is survived by her sons, George (Lori), Billy (Chauna), and Robert (Ashley); grandchildren; George III, Hunter, Mason, Mitchell, Rylee, Emma, Kruze, Grace, Parker, and Colton; sister, Mady (Vern) Pechac, Kay (Robin) Anderson-Leek; brother, Bobby (Karen) Anderson; special aunt, Crazy Linda Meier; and many nieces, nephews, and friends, especially "Lula Bell".

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024 at the Donovan Funeral Home-Mogadore, 34 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore.

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Gordon Hayberg officiating.

Interment will be at Restland Cemetery.
