Brenda Arline (Vallas) Gorenc

Brenda Arline Gorenc (Vallas) has passed away after courageous decade long battle. Brenda was born in London, Ontario Canada, but has made her home in northeast Ohio since 1967.  She has been a resident of Hudson, Ohio for almost 30 years.

Brenda is predeceased by her son Justin Tyler Gorenc, a 1995 graduate of Hudson high school and a student at Kent State.

Brenda had many passions, including her love of animals, rock and roll music and a serious passion for gardening.  Brenda was a long-standing member of the Hudson Garden Club and served on the board as historian before becoming ill. As family, we remember Brenda, as a loving mother with a positive outlook and a sense of adventure. We think it's pretty awesome that as a teenager Brenda attended a Beatles concert in Canada sitting in seat 11 row H section 56. Another part of her legacy that Brenda dabbled in was that of a published romance writer with an alias.  She moved to Ohio, from Canada, as young adult and retired after a 34 year career with Norandex Building Products.

Brenda will be laid to rest in a private interment at Hillcrest Mausoleum alongside her son.

Special thanks is extended to Brenda's friends, Amy and Judy for their kindness especially in Brenda's final part of her earthly journey.

At Brenda's request Spirit in the Sky will be her played at her interment … a fitting anthem for a life filled with often quiet love but ultimately with faith.
