Carmela Cagnoli

Carmela Cagnoli, 92, passed away August 23, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of the Akron area, raising her family in Tallmadge.

Carmela, known to all as Lena, enjoyed cooking, crocheting, quilting and she was an accomplished seamstress. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tallmadge.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Frank Cagnoli; parents, Thomas and Mary Cardoni; siblings, Philip, Louis, Joseph and John.

Carmela is survived by her sons, Frank Cagnoli, Michael (Sandy) Cagnoli; brother, Tom (Carol) Cardoni; sisters, Ange Sabbagh, Caroline Brumbaugh, Rose (George) Sawyers, Elsie Gelvin; sister in law, Lois Cardoni; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating. PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
