Carmine Alvino

Carmine Alvino, 85, passed away March 24, 2016. Born in Italy, he lived most of his life in the Akron area.

Carmine had worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber and Holy Family Parish where he was also a member.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna.

Carmine is survived by his daughter, Vitina (Richard) Bednar; son, Dino Alvino; five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Holy Family Parish, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Oh with Fr. Paul Rosing officiating.

Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
