Carole J Hansrote

Carole J. Hansrote, age 87, passed away July 26, 2021. Mrs. Hansrote was born and lived her life in Akron.

Carole was passionate about her career as an  ESL Teacher, working with Akron Public Schools for over 35 years before retiring. She graduated from Akron North High School, University of Akron, Findley University and was a member of the Akron PTA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roy; parents, Basil and Vivian Likens; brother, Bruce Likens.

Carole is survived by her daughter, Cindy Lampe of Akron; son, Randy (Rosa) Hansrote of Chandler, Arizona; grandchildren, Christy Miller, Adam Lampe, Bianca, Crystal, Michael Hansrote; seven great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Waldo.

We welcome friends to visit 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Case officiating.

Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
