Caroline Shacklett

Caroline Shacklett, 90, went home to be with the Lord November 5, 2016.

Born in Stockholm Township, Minnesota, Caroline had lived in the Akron area since 1961.  She was an active member of Tallmadge Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Shacklett and step son, Danny Shacklett; five sisters, and one brother.

Caroline is survived by her; son, Randy (Linda) Stevenson; granddaughter, April (Charles) Stanfield both of Cuyahoga Falls; great grandchildren, Megan, Leah, and Holly; sisters, Betty Juneau of Oregon and Gloria (John) Colburn of Blackduck, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews; step daughter, Candy (Tom) Mollica of Glen Burnie, MD.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday November 12, 2016 at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Ave., Tallmadge with Rev. Andy Alberts officiating.

Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
