Carolyn Sue Delong

Carolyn Sue DeLong , 82, passed away on January 28, 2023, after a brief illness.  She was greeted into heaven by her beloved husband of 54 years, Larry G. DeLong, whom she deeply missed, her Mom and Dad, Ann and George Young and her faithful dog, Snoopy.

Carolyn is survived by her son Greg (Betsy) of Akron; grandsons, Anthony (Liz) of Rootstown and John of Portsmouth, NH; and great grandson David. Special friend Chris who did her hair for many years and extended family and many friends.

Carolyn was a master knitter who crafted numerous hats, scarves, and afghans for the people she loved over the years.  She loved to read and to travel.  Favorite spots were Myrtle Beach, Gatlinburg and Germany. She was a diehard Cleveland sports fan who never missed a game on tv. Though the Browns broke her heart too many times to mention.

Per her wishes there will be no service.  A private celebration of life is planned by the Family.
