Carolyn L. Savage (Holmes), 72, passed away April 30, 2015.  She was born in Ravenna and was a lifelong resident of North Hill.  She dedicated her life to her family and always made them her priority.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ercel and Leona Holmes; brother, Bud and sister, Linda.  Carolyn is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert; her children, Robert (Kathy), Donald (Jeanne), Carol (Tim) Stavroff, Barb (Andy) Borsi, Paul, Ken and Debbie; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Linda) Holmes; and sister, Nancy Shaver.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Summa for their dedication and loving care.

Memorial calling hours will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday at Hennessy Funeral Home (corner of York and Main) 552 N. Main St. Akron.  Memorial Mass will be at 10 am Tuesday at Blessed Trinity Church 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron.
